Pishio ("we", "the app") is a cooking assistant: recipes, an AI assistant, meal planning, a shared kitchen (pantry and shopping list) and cooking together with a partner. This policy explains what data we collect, why, who processes it on our behalf, how long we keep it and what your rights are. By using Pishio you agree to this policy. Account deletion is described step by step on the account deletion page.
1. Data we collect
Account: email address, name, username and profile photo, provided through Sign in with Google, Sign in with Apple or email and password (Firebase Authentication). Also your preferred language, time zone (so reminders arrive at a sensible local hour) and notification preferences.
App content: recipes you save, add or import, your lists and menus, ratings, pantry items, shopping list, kitchen equipment, meal plans, cooking partners, invitations, cooking-session activity and your cooking history.
Food preferences and taste profile: lifestyle (e.g. vegetarian, halal), avoided ingredient groups and ingredients, nutrition goal, and the cuisines you like — learned from your ratings, cooks and saved recipes, plus the ones you pin yourself.
AI assistant data: the messages you write to the assistant, the photos you send it (a dish, a receipt or your pantry, a recipe page), its replies and the actions you confirm in the chat. Chat history is stored in your account until you delete a chat or the account. Feedback you give on an answer is stored with it.
Assistant memory (only with your permission): short personal notes the assistant keeps to personalise its help ("cooks for two", "no oven"). Off by default; we ask during onboarding and you can change it in settings. You can edit or delete every note; turning the setting off deletes all of them at once.
Notifications: a push-notification token, and a copy of every notification we send you (your in-app notification inbox), kept for 90 days.
Purchases: your subscription status and trial dates as reported by the App Store or Google Play. We never see or store card details; the stores process payments.
Usage and diagnostics: in-app events (Firebase Analytics), crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics) and the app version you run.
How you found Pishio: a referral or partner-invite code and campaign tags from the link you installed with (on Android via the Play Install Referrer; on iOS we check the clipboard once after install for a Pishio invite link only, behind the system paste prompt). Ad-measurement events are described in section 5.
2. How we use your data
To create and secure your account and authenticate you.
To provide the features: recipes, partner connections and invitations, real-time cooking sessions, the shared kitchen, meal plans and the AI assistant.
To keep recipes and suggestions consistent with your dietary restrictions and to personalise recommendations.
To send the notifications you have enabled and to keep them in your inbox.
To apply your subscription or trial entitlement and meter the AI usage allowance (section 3).
To review assistant messages that are unrelated to cooking or abusive, and to enforce our Terms.
To diagnose crashes, understand product usage and measure our marketing.
To comply with legal obligations.
3. The AI assistant and how it processes your data
What is sent to the AI provider: your messages and photos, and the context the assistant needs to answer — your pantry, your meal plans, your food preferences, your memory notes (if enabled), your kitchen equipment and the names of your cooking partners. Our AI provider is Google Cloud (Vertex AI, Gemini models), acting as our processor. We do not use your data to train AI models.
Your permission first: before the first request to the AI provider the app shows you this list and asks for your permission; nothing is sent until you accept. You can withdraw it at any time under Settings → Personalization → AI data sharing, after which the assistant, AI meal planning and recipe import stay off until you approve again.
Photos: a photo you send is read by the AI to recognise a dish, a receipt or a recipe; the full-size photo is kept for 60 minutes so you can ask follow-ups, a small thumbnail stays in the chat transcript for 7 days, then both are deleted.
Actions: the assistant can save recipes, edit your plans and update your pantry or shopping list. Actions that save or delete something are done only after you confirm them in the chat.
Importing from a link: when you paste a link (a website, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook or Pinterest post) we fetch the public page or caption and read it with AI to build the recipe.
Usage allowance: AI usage is metered by its actual cost and recorded in a usage ledger tied to your account; you only see a percentage.
Moderation: messages unrelated to cooking or intended to abuse the assistant are flagged, together with their text, for review by us. Repeated abuse may lead to suspension of the account.
Accuracy: AI output can be wrong. Quantities, cooking times, temperatures and allergen information must be checked by you; the assistant gives no health, allergy or dietary guarantees.
4. Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. Content is shared with other users only when you choose to interact with them:
A partner you invite or connect with sees your username and name; during a shared cooking session both of you see the session's progress.
If you join a household with your partner, you share one kitchen: your partner sees and edits the pantry, the shopping list and the kitchen equipment, and can edit, rename and delete meal plans shared with them.
A recipe you share by link, or publish to the feed after our review, is visible to anyone with the link or to other users respectively, together with your display name.
We use these providers as data processors: Google (Firebase Authentication, Analytics, Crashlytics and Cloud Messaging; Google Cloud hosting; Vertex AI for the assistant), Apple (Sign in with Apple, App Store, SKAdNetwork), Neon (database hosting), Vercel (this website) and Meta (ad measurement, see section 5). We may disclose data where the law requires it.
5. Tracking and ad measurement
Pishio shows no ads. To understand whether our own advertising works we use ad-measurement tools:
iOS: we ask for your permission through App Tracking Transparency. Only if you allow it may the Meta SDK use the advertising identifier to attribute an install or purchase to an ad. If you do not allow it, no identifier is used; install attribution then relies solely on Apple's privacy-preserving SKAdNetwork, which sends us no identifiers.
Android: the Meta SDK may collect the advertising ID for the same purpose; you can reset or delete it in your device's Google settings.
Analytics and ad-measurement events describe app milestones (sign-up, first cook, subscription) — never your recipes, messages or photos.
Nothing is collected from emulators, test devices or store test purchases.
6. Data retention
Account data is kept while your account is active.
Assistant chats are kept until you delete them or your account; full-size photos 60 minutes, chat thumbnails 7 days.
The notification inbox is kept for 90 days.
Moderation records of flagged assistant messages are deleted with the account.
Purchase and subscription records are kept as long as accounting and consumer law require.
Analytics and crash data already collected remain only in aggregated form.
7. Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account, or by emailing us. Deletion removes your profile, sign-in record, partners, invitations, sessions, lists, ratings, food preferences, taste profile, memory notes, pantry, shopping list, kitchen equipment, meal plans, assistant chats with their photos and feedback, notification inbox and cooking history. Recipes you published that were approved for the public catalogue stay there under the Pishio account, without your name; your other recipes are deleted. Details: account deletion page.
8. Children
Pishio is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
9. Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored on secured servers in Google Cloud and Neon. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
10. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to processing, or withdraw a consent you gave (assistant memory, tracking permission, notification categories) at any time — in the app's settings where available, or by contacting us. Residents of Türkiye have the rights set out in the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK); residents of the EU/EEA and UK have the rights set out in the GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above and, where appropriate, announced in the app.
Pishio ("biz", "uygulama") bir yemek asistanıdır: tarifler, yapay zekâ asistanı, yemek planlama, ortak mutfak (kiler ve alışveriş listesi) ve partnerle birlikte pişirme. 1. Topladığımız veriler
Hesap: e-posta adresi, ad, kullanıcı adı ve profil fotoğrafı — Google ile Giriş, Apple ile Giriş ya da e-posta ve şifre (Firebase Authentication) üzerinden. Ayrıca tercih ettiğiniz dil, saat dilimi (hatırlatmalar makul bir yerel saatte gelsin diye) ve bildirim tercihleri.
Uygulama içeriği: kaydettiğiniz, eklediğiniz ya da içe aktardığınız tarifler, listeleriniz ve menüleriniz, puanlar, kiler öğeleri, alışveriş listesi, mutfak ekipmanı, yemek planları, pişirme partnerleri, davetler, pişirme oturumu aktiviteniz ve pişirme geçmişiniz.
Yemek tercihleri ve damak profili: yaşam tarzı (örn. vejetaryen, helal), kaçınılan malzeme grupları ve malzemeler, beslenme hedefi ve sevdiğiniz mutfaklar — puanlarınızdan, pişirdiklerinizden ve kaydettiklerinizden öğrenilir, kendi sabitledikleriniz de eklenir.
Yapay zekâ asistanı verileri: asistana yazdığınız mesajlar, gönderdiğiniz fotoğraflar (bir yemek, fiş ya da kileriniz, bir tarif sayfası), asistanın cevapları ve sohbette onayladığınız işlemler. Sohbet geçmişi siz sohbeti ya da hesabı silene kadar hesabınızda saklanır. Bir cevaba verdiğiniz geri bildirim cevapla birlikte tutulur.
Asistan hafızası (yalnız izninizle): asistanın yardımını kişiselleştirmek için tuttuğu kısa kişisel notlar ("iki kişilik pişiriyor", "fırını yok"). Varsayılan olarak kapalıdır; karşılamada sorarız, ayarlardan değiştirebilirsiniz. Her notu düzenleyebilir ya da silebilirsiniz; ayarı kapatmak notların tamamını bir kerede siler.
Bildirimler: push bildirim token'ı ve size gönderdiğimiz her bildirimin bir kopyası (uygulama içi bildirim kutunuz), 90 gün saklanır.
Satın alımlar: App Store ya da Google Play'in bildirdiği abonelik durumunuz ve deneme tarihleri. Kart bilgilerinizi hiç görmeyiz ve saklamayız; ödemeleri mağazalar işler.
Kullanım ve tanılama: uygulama içi olaylar (Firebase Analytics), çökme raporları (Firebase Crashlytics) ve kullandığınız uygulama sürümü.
Pishio'yu nasıl bulduğunuz: kurulum yaptığınız bağlantıdaki davet/partner kodu ve kampanya etiketleri (Android'de Play Install Referrer ile; iOS'ta kurulumdan sonra bir kez, sistemin yapıştırma istemi arkasında, yalnız Pishio davet bağlantısı için panoya bakarız). 2. Verileri nasıl kullanırız
Hesabınızı oluşturmak, güvenceye almak ve kimliğinizi doğrulamak için.
Özellikleri sunmak için: tarifler, partner bağlantıları ve davetler, gerçek zamanlı pişirme oturumları, ortak mutfak, yemek planları ve yapay zekâ asistanı.
Tarifleri ve önerileri beslenme kısıtlarınıza uygun tutmak ve önerileri kişiselleştirmek için.
Açtığınız bildirimleri göndermek ve bildirim kutunuzda tutmak için.
Abonelik ya da deneme hakkınızı uygulamak ve yapay zekâ kullanım bütçesini ölçmek için (3. bölüm).

3. Yapay zekâ asistanı ve verilerinizi nasıl işlediği
Yapay zekâ sağlayıcısına ne gider: mesajlarınız ve fotoğraflarınız ile asistanın cevap için ihtiyaç duyduğu bağlam — kileriniz, yemek planlarınız, yemek tercihleriniz, hafıza notlarınız (açıksa), mutfak ekipmanınız ve pişirme partnerlerinizin adları. Yapay zekâ sağlayıcımız, veri işleyen sıfatıyla Google Cloud'dur (Vertex AI, Gemini modelleri). Verilerinizi yapay zekâ modeli eğitmek için kullanmayız.
Önce izniniz: yapay zekâ sağlayıcısına ilk istekten önce uygulama size bu listeyi gösterir ve izninizi ister; kabul etmeden hiçbir veri gönderilmez. İzni dilediğiniz zaman Ayarlar → Kişiselleştirme → Yapay zekâ veri paylaşımı altından geri çekebilirsiniz; o andan itibaren asistan, yapay zekâ ile plan ve tarif içe aktarma siz yeniden onaylayana kadar kapalı kalır.
Fotoğraflar: gönderdiğiniz fotoğraf bir yemeği, fişi ya da tarifi tanımak için yapay zekâ tarafından okunur; tam boy fotoğraf devam soruları için 60 dakika tutulur, küçük bir önizleme sohbet geçmişinde 7 gün kalır, sonra ikisi de silinir.
İşlemler: asistan tarif kaydedebilir, planlarınızı düzenleyebilir, kilerinizi ya da alışveriş listenizi güncelleyebilir. Kaydeden ya da silen işlemler yalnız sohbette onayladıktan sonra yapılır.
Bağlantıdan içe aktarma: bir bağlantı yapıştırdığınızda (web sitesi, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook ya da Pinterest gönderisi) herkese açık sayfayı ya da açıklamayı çeker ve tarifi çıkarmak için yapay zekâ ile okuruz.
Kullanım bütçesi: yapay zekâ kullanımı gerçek maliyetiyle ölçülür ve hesabınıza bağlı bir kullanım defterine yazılır; size yalnız yüzde gösterilir.
Moderasyon: yemekle ilgisiz ya da asistanı kötüye kullanmaya yönelik mesajlar, metinleriyle birlikte incelememiz için işaretlenir. Süregelen kötüye kullanım hesabın askıya alınmasına yol açabilir.
Doğruluk: yapay zekâ çıktısı yanlış olabilir. Ölçüleri, süreleri, sıcaklıkları ve alerjen bilgisini siz kontrol etmelisiniz; asistan sağlık, alerji ya da diyet güvencesi vermez.
4. Paylaşım
Kişisel verilerinizi satmıyoruz. İçerik, diğer kullanıcılarla yalnız siz onlarla etkileşime geçmeyi seçtiğinizde paylaşılır:
Davet ettiğiniz ya da bağlandığınız partner kullanıcı adınızı ve adınızı görür; ortak pişirme oturumunda ikiniz de oturumun ilerleyişini görürsünüz.
Partnerinizle bir ev kurarsanız tek mutfağı paylaşırsınız: partneriniz kileri, alışveriş listesini ve mutfak ekipmanını görür ve düzenler; kendisiyle paylaşılan yemek planlarını düzenleyebilir, adlandırabilir ve silebilir.
Bağlantıyla paylaştığınız ya da incelememizden sonra akışta yayımladığınız tarif, sırasıyla bağlantıya sahip herkese ya da diğer kullanıcılara, görünen adınızla birlikte açıktır.
Veri işleyen olarak şu sağlayıcıları kullanırız: Google (Firebase Authentication, Analytics, Crashlytics ve Cloud Messaging; Google Cloud barındırma; asistan için Vertex AI), Apple (Apple ile Giriş, App Store, SKAdNetwork), Neon (veritabanı barındırma), Vercel (bu web sitesi) ve Meta (reklam ölçümü, 5. bölüm). Yasa gerektirdiğinde veri açıklayabiliriz.
5. Takip ve reklam ölçümü
Pishio reklam göstermez. Kendi reklamlarımızın işe yarayıp yaramadığını anlamak için reklam ölçüm araçları kullanırız:
iOS: App Tracking Transparency ile izninizi isteriz. Yalnız izin verirseniz Meta SDK'sı bir kurulumu ya da satın almayı reklama bağlamak için reklam kimliğini kullanabilir. İzin vermezseniz hiçbir kimlik kullanılmaz; kurulum atfı o zaman yalnız Apple'ın gizlilik korumalı SKAdNetwork'üne dayanır, bu bize hiçbir kimlik iletmez.
Android: Meta SDK'sı aynı amaçla reklam kimliğini toplayabilir; cihazınızın Google ayarlarından sıfırlayabilir ya da silebilirsiniz.
Analitik ve reklam ölçüm olayları uygulama kilometre taşlarını anlatır (kayıt, ilk pişirme, abonelik) — tariflerinizi, mesajlarınızı ya da fotoğraflarınızı asla.
Emülatörlerden, test cihazlarından ve mağaza test alımlarından hiçbir şey toplanmaz.
6. Veri saklama
Hesap verileri hesabınız aktif olduğu sürece saklanır.
Asistan sohbetleri siz sohbeti ya da hesabı silene kadar; tam boy fotoğraflar 60 dakika, sohbet önizlemeleri 7 gün.
Bildirim kutusu 90 gün saklanır.
İşaretlenen asistan mesajlarının moderasyon kayıtları hesapla birlikte silinir.
Satın alma ve abonelik kayıtları muhasebe ve tüketici mevzuatı gerektirdiği sürece saklanır.
Toplanmış analitik ve çökme verileri yalnız toplu biçimde kalır.
7. Hesabınızı silme
Hesabınızı istediğiniz zaman Profil → Hesabı Sil üzerinden ya da bize e-posta yazarak silebilirsiniz. Silme; profilinizi, giriş kaydınızı, partnerleri, davetleri, oturumları, listeleri, puanları, yemek tercihlerini, damak profilini, hafıza notlarını, kileri, alışveriş listesini, mutfak ekipmanını, yemek planlarını, fotoğrafları ve geri bildirimleriyle asistan sohbetlerini, bildirim kutusunu ve pişirme geçmişini kaldırır. Herkese açık katalog için onaylanmış tarifleriniz adınız olmadan Pishio hesabı altında kalır; diğer tarifleriniz silinir. Ayrıntı: hesap silme sayfası.
8. Çocuklar
Pishio 13 yaş altı çocuklara yönelik değildir. 13 yaş altı çocuklardan bilerek veri toplamayız.
9. Güvenlik
Veriler şifreli bağlantılar (HTTPS) üzerinden iletilir ve Google Cloud ile Neon'daki güvenli sunucularda saklanır. Hiçbir iletim ya da saklama yöntemi %100 güvenli değildir.
10. Haklarınız
Kişisel verilerinize erişim, düzeltme ya da silme talep edebilir, işlemeye itiraz edebilir ya da verdiğiniz bir izni (asistan hafızası, takip izni, bildirim kategorileri) istediğiniz zaman geri alabilirsiniz — mümkün olduğunda uygulama ayarlarından, yoksa bize ulaşarak. Türkiye'de yerleşik kullanıcılar 6698 sayılı Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Kanunu (KVKK) kapsamındaki haklara; AB/AEA ve Birleşik Krallık'ta yerleşik kullanıcılar, denetim makamına şikâyet hakkı dahil GDPR kapsamındaki haklara sahiptir.
11. Değişiklikler
Bu politikayı güncelleyebiliriz. Önemli değişiklikler yukarıdaki tarih güncellenerek ve gerektiğinde uygulama içinde duyurularak yansıtılır.
